Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many cups of tea is your Green Tea extract (decaffeinated) equivalent to?

A: Each 100 mg capsule of our Green Tea extract (decaffeinated) is equivalent to drinking 5 cups of black tea or 1 cup green tea. This equivalence is based on epigallocatechin gallate (EGCg) content. The total catechin content of our extract is a minimum of 90 mg, at least 70 mg of which is EGCg. Pure Encapsulations Green Tea extract is decaffeinated, providing all the benefits of tea without the side effects of caffeine.
