How Does Pure Encapsulations' CMO Compare to Other CMO Products?
The manufacturer of our CMO (cetyl myristoleate) is EHP Products. This company is run by the daughter of Dr. Diehl, the original discoverer and patent holder of CMO. An award winning researcher, Dr. DiehI developed over 500 new compounds, several of which were patented by the U.S. Patent Office for the National Institutes of Health. Unlike many other forms of CMO on the market, our product clearly indicates the cetyl myristoleate content. Each capsule of Pure Encapsulations CMO provides 100 mg of actual CMO from beef tallow. CMO is not obtained from vegetables and products marketed as being vegetable-derived CMO do not offer true cetyl myristoleate, only closely related compounds.
