Quick Fact – Resveratrol
Resveratrol is primarily found in red wine, purple grape juice, mulberries and peanuts. However, the trans-resveratrol content of wine is highly dependent on grape type, climate, and practices used to make the wine. Pure Encapsulations trans-reveratrol is derived from Polygonum cuspidatum (Japanese knotweed), which has a long history of traditional use in China and Japan. It is considered to be one of the most concentrated sources of trans-resveratrol. Furthermore, stability testing indicates that our 20% trans-resveratrol extract is stable for 2 years.
