Quick Fact – Partially Hydrolyzed Guar Gum
Guar gum is a water-soluble carbohydrate derived from guar plant seeds grown in a natural process without the use of chemicals. It has been partially hydrolyzed in a controlled natural enzymatic process that breaks the guar gum into smaller units, decreasing its viscosity and allowing the particles to dissolve more readily. Because of this process, it offers a form of soluble fiber that can be mixed with foods and beverages without impacting flavor, color or texture.
